1.Introduction

Octofun Games Yazılım ve Bilişim Anonim Şirketi (“Octofun Games”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), located at İçerenköy Mah. Topçu İbrahim Sk. Quick Tower Sitesi No: 8-10D, Ataşehir / İstanbul, Türkiye, develops and publishes mobile games. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you use our games and related services (together, the “Services”). For the purposes of applicable data protection laws, including the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), Octofun Games is the data controller of your personal data.

By using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.

2.Information we collect

Information you provide to us

We collect information you give us directly, for example when you contact our support, respond to a survey, or make an in-app purchase (we receive purchase confirmations, but not your payment card details, which are handled by the platform provider).

Information collected automatically

When you use our Services, we and our partners may automatically collect:

• device information: model, operating system and version, language, and screen properties;
• identifiers: your IP address and mobile advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android, subject to your device and consent settings) and app-scoped identifiers;
• gameplay data: game progress, levels reached, session length, feature usage, and interactions with in-game content, including advertisements;
• purchase history within our games;
• approximate (country/region-level) location derived from your IP address;
• diagnostic data such as crash logs and performance metrics.

Information from third parties

We may receive information about you from third parties, such as app store platforms (e.g., purchase and refund information), advertising networks, analytics providers, and payment processors.

3.How we use your information

We use the information described above to:

• provide, operate, maintain, and improve our games;
• save and restore your game progress;
• process transactions and deliver purchased content;
• respond to your support requests;
• show advertising in our games, including, with your consent where required, advertising tailored to your interests;
• measure the performance of our games and our marketing;
• detect, prevent, and address fraud, cheating, technical issues, and security incidents;
• comply with our legal obligations.

4.Advertising

Our games may display advertisements served by third-party advertising partners. These partners may collect or receive device information and advertising identifiers, as described in Section 2, to serve and measure ads, and, where you have given consent, to personalize them. Their processing is governed by their own privacy policies.

You can limit personalized advertising at any time:

• on iOS, through the App Tracking Transparency prompt and Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking;
• on Android, through Settings → Google → Ads, where you can delete or reset your advertising ID;
• where a consent prompt is shown in our games, by declining or later changing your choice in the game's settings.

5.How we share information

We share information with:

• service providers that perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, analytics, customer support, and crash reporting, under obligations to protect your information;
• advertising partners, as described in Section 4;
• platform providers (such as Apple and Google) in connection with distribution and payments;
• legal and safety recipients: courts, regulators, or law enforcement where we believe disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect our rights or the safety of our players;
• a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case your information may be transferred as part of that transaction;
• anyone, in aggregated or de-identified form that does not identify you.

We do not sell your personal data in the ordinary sense of the word; however, some sharing with advertising partners may qualify as a “sale” or “sharing” under certain laws (see Section 10).

6.International data transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than the one in which you reside, including Türkiye, the European Union, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers, such as standard contractual clauses and the mechanisms provided under KVKK and the GDPR.

7.Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, and thereafter as required or permitted by law (for example, for tax and accounting obligations). When data is no longer needed, we delete, destroy, or anonymize it.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9.Children

Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13, or the higher minimum age required for valid consent to data processing in your country. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

10.Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal data, which may include the right to:

• learn whether we process your personal data and request access to it;
• request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data;
• request deletion of your personal data;
• object to or request restriction of certain processing;
• receive certain data in a portable format;
• withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent;
• lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in Türkiye, the Personal Data Protection Authority, KVKK Kurumu; in the EEA/UK, your national data protection authority).

To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 12. Turkish residents may exercise the rights set out in Article 11 of the KVKK through the same channel. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, exercisable through the advertising controls in Section 4 or by contacting us.

Legal bases (GDPR/KVKK)

Where these laws apply, we process personal data on the following bases: performance of a contract (providing the Services you request); our legitimate interests (operating, securing, and improving our games and measuring non-personalized advertising); your consent (personalized advertising and other processing where consent is required); and compliance with legal obligations.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available at octofungames.com/privacy-policy, and the “Last updated” date above will reflect the latest revision. For material changes we will use reasonable efforts to provide notice, such as in-game or on our website.
